Today was an earlier morning as we had breakfast around 7:30 and left for the ShipTek International Conference and Awards. This was a very inclusive day as we were welcomed with multiple handshakes and business cards to try and network for our summer internships. During a networking breakfast and lunch, there were multiple panels discussing topics like Navigating The Future: Visionary Leaders Steering Maritime & Offshore Industry Forward and Zero-Emission Shipping: Navigating Successes & The Unfinished Business-Of Sustainability. The ShipTek chairman invited MMA IMBU students up on stage for Captain Pandey to give a brief overview of what we are about. Overall, the whole day was very educational as well as great practice to start shaking hands and selling ourselves to companies. We finished up around 4:30 and headed to dinner at the Dubai Mall. After we caught a taxi back to the hotel for an early night to catch some rest before our last full day!
