Requirements to apply and participate
- Junior status majoring in Marine Science, Safety, and Environmental Protection at MMA
- A 3.2 or better GPA overall after completion of the fall semester of their junior year
- A short application to be reviewed by the SMAST department chairpersons, including unofficial transcripts
- One letter of recommendation from MMA faculty member
