Today was our first day at the Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy. We were given a quick but detailed presentation on multiple clusters of the maritime industry. We learned about Maritime Operations, Sustainability- Maritime and Shipping tour, and we also learned about green shipping/ decarbonization. Each one of these presentation were solely based on the maritime industry and how they operate in the Abu Dhabi. Not only did we learn so much about in these presentations but we also had the opportunity to connect with the Captain and Students and ADMA! We were also given the chance to operate three different simulators from shipping containers to tug boat. With this experience we learned how to handle the ship when a storm may approach or when in danger of being caught in a collision. All 13 of us cadets plus Captain Pandey had a wonderful time in learning insightful information!
